But harvesting from nature has always been a problem because it drastically depletes wild plant stocks.
Today, medicinal herbs are cultivated under carefully controlled conditions. The first requirement is that they should be organic, as any traces of chemical pesticides or fertilizers could destroy the herb's natural medicinal properties.
